Easy and Fun 4th of July Desserts

The 4th of July means summer is officially here. Backyard barbecues, spritz cocktails by the pool and longer days with family mean there’s some crowd-pleasing menus to be made. Of course including everyone’s favorite, dessert. One of the biggest misconceptions for holiday entertaining is the need for elaborate, pulled together dishes that everyone will enjoy — this can often overcomplicate things and make hosting stressful. There is no need to overthink your menu when you have delicious, simple recipes everyone will love (is there anything better than fresh peaches and cream for a summer dessert?!)

Each of these 4th of July recipes has their touch of red, white, and blue, but can easily be remade all summer long. With a variety of healthy desserts to super sweet and indulgent treats, we have something on this list that’s decadent for everyone. Cheers to making your 4th of July weekend extra special and sweet, even if you’re like us and don’t plan to go anywhere at all. Be safe, social distance, and don’t forget the dessert!
